Sadly, Will has had to bring his epic endeavour to an early end because of a nasty knee injury. It is very disappointing for him, of course, but we are still very proud of him - he still cycled 400 miles in 4 days, battling snow, hail and endless punctures! You can see what he thinks of it all on his blog - http://romeandback.wordpress.com/
We will be holding a gathering of all those interested in volunteering at CentrePeace on Saturday, 2nd March at 2:30pm. There is renovation work still going on downstairs, so please excuse the mess! However, there will be plenty of tea, coffee and cake available - we look forward to seeing you!
On the 18th February, William Barsley - a good friend of CentrePeace - begins his epic cycle ride from Rome to Kent, a total distance of 1,350 miles! Will has very kindly chosen to donate all sponsorship money to CentrePeace to help with the costs of renovating, refurbishing and decorating our centre, so that we may open and begin serving the community as soon as possible. If you would like to donate to William's worthy effort you can visit his fundraising site using the following link:

This is George, our newest recruit. He gets pushed around a bit by the other volunteers, but he doesn't seem to mind! He's a very willing helper and always has a smile on his face!
