A warm hello from our staff & trustees
Meet our amazing team that makes CentrePeace a reality

Dee Mulhall
Centre Manager
As Centre Manager at CentrePeace, Dee is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the centre and supporting the delivery of workshops, events, and community activities. Passionate about creating a welcoming and inclusive environment, she is committed to ensuring that everyone who visits CentrePeace feels supported, valued, and encouraged to explore new opportunities for learning, growth, and connection.
Her warm and approachable nature helps make CentrePeace a vibrant and welcoming community for all.

Becky Ilk
Counselling Coordinator
Becky Ilk, Counselling Coordinator at CentrePeace, holds an MSc in Advanced Counselling and Psychotherapy. Her early career in teaching English as a Foreign Language shaped her appreciation for communication, culture and human diversity.
She brings warmth, curiosity and understanding to her work, creating spaces where people feel heard and supported. Becky believes people do the best they can with the tools they have and sees self‑compassion as central to growth. She helps clients develop kinder self‑awareness and more resilient ways of responding to life’s challenges.

Terri Emberson
CentrePeace Founder & Trustee Chair
I’m Terri Emberson, one of the founder trustees of Centrepeace. My working history was mainly in general office admin. I have three grown up children, with three grandchildren and another on the way – and a dog! I love exploring, whether walking or visiting new places with family and friends – or simply exploring life through various philosophies. I also value and appreciate the solid base of strong family and community ties.
I had spent many years, with a dear friend (and fellow founder trustee) trying to promote peace in whatever way we could, both physical (raising money for a cause, holding a Peace/Friendship club at a local primary school, visiting elderly members of the community etc.) and metaphysical (leading evenings and meditations devoted to peace). We, with a small group of others, used to chat about how lovely it would be to set up a ‘Centre of Peace’, where people could visit for friendship and help without fear of judgement. It took a while but, eventually, CentrePeace was born.

Pam Harvey
Trustee
Trustee at CentrePeace since 2019. Before retirement I was an NHS hospital and then community based dietitian; being asked to join CP, with its focus on healthy, low cost meals for all was an opportunity not to be missed.
It’s a huge privilege to support this very special charity, small in size, massive in all it provides, it’s the heart of Paignton.

Emma Forsythe
