Volunteering
Here at CentrePeace we are reliant on volunteers to run our charity shop and cafe. This is a vibrant and friendly place to volunteer with the opportunity to learn new skills, make new friends and gain confidence. Whether you want to volunteer to help your employment chances, do some good in the community or make friends we have something for you. You will have the opportunity to undertake training courses, attend team building/social events with the other volunteers. We offer free lunches for those that work all day and discounts in the charity shop.
Cafe
The cafe is manned by volunteers and overseen by the cafe coordinator. There are opportunities to learn to work the coffee machine, help make meals, work the till, take orders and serve customers or simply clear and clean the tables. This is a busy friendly environment with flexible hours, friendly customers and volunteers.
The Shop
The shop is run by our friendly team of volunteers. You can discover some fantastic finds in our selection of quality second-hand items. There is always something for everyone, and all fairly priced. It is more than just a shop, we are a friendly and welcoming community hub alongside our cafe. All our profits go back into supporting our local community. Come down and join in our team of volunteers and help to make a difference.
